POSTPONED: NAPS Creek Cleanup now Sunday, Oct. 9, noon-3pm
UPDATE: Due to the threat of high winds and inclement weather for Sunday Oct. 2, the NAPS Creek Cleanup has been postponed one week to Sunday, Oct. 9.
We’ll get fueled up at noon with a free lunch for all participants, then we’ll clean up the shorelines of Cockrells Creek in Reedville using a small fleet of skiffs and lots of helping hands. Everyone can help, whether as a skiff captain, trash-picking skiff crew member, or a land-based helper. Each participant is offered a free "Trash Crab" T-shirt* and a reusable grocery bag. Always a lot of smiling faces!
Fill out participation form below (2 page pdf), take pictures of it with your smartphone, and email to stewardship@NAPSva.org – indicate in the email whether you are volunteering to be a skiff captain, trash picker, or land-base helper.
*Be sure to indicate your size at the top of the form.
