Great Day for a Strawberry Festival
It was a beautiful day for the Heathsville Strawberry Festival this past Saturday (May 26, 2018). NAPS gave away dozens of reusable grocery bags to help raise awareness on the ecological hazards caused by disposable plastic bags. The booth also had a display explaining solar cells, including the work NAPS has done in the county and schools to educate the community on solar energy. We also had displays to update the community on our other 2018 projects.
The weather was perfect and thousands of people attended the festival this year, according to the organizers. NAPS was one of about 130 organizations or vendors that set up at the event
Thank you to all the people who stopped by our booth – all seven of the NAPS booth tenders had a great time.
